Smart Window is a comprehensive mobile platform that centralizes essential business, employment, and public service information for users across Syria. Launched in 2019, the application was developed to simplify access to reliable information by bringing together business directories, government service guidance, employment opportunities, market data, and business news within a single digital platform.
The application enables users to discover companies across multiple industries, explore job opportunities from government institutions, private companies, and international organizations, and access guidance on public services and required documentation. It also provides continuously updated information on exchange rates, gold prices, market indicators, tenders, auctions, conferences, exhibitions, and important business announcements, helping users make informed decisions through accurate and timely information.
As the Founder and Technical Project Manager, I led the product from concept to production, defining the technical architecture and overseeing the complete software development lifecycle. My responsibilities included designing the backend architecture and REST APIs, leading the Flutter mobile application development, managing database design, integrating third-party services, optimizing application performance, and driving product strategy and technical decisions throughout the project’s evolution.
Built using Flutter, Laravel, MySQL, and RESTful APIs, Smart Window has become one of Syria’s leading business information platforms, attracting more than 100,000 downloads on Google Play. The project demonstrates my experience in designing scalable mobile applications, building robust backend systems, and delivering digital products that provide practical value to a large user base.
